Q: Do you take
insurance?
A: No. We
are a fee for service practice. If you choose to seek reimbursement
from your insurance company, we can provide you with an invoice that
includes your diagnosis code as well as a code for services
rendered.
Q: How long do
the therapy sessions last?
A: Each
session lasts approximately 50 minutes to one hour. Please arrive 15
minutes early for your first appointment to complete the intake
paperwork.
Q: How much do
you charge for therapy?
A:
Services provided by the licensed psychologist, Dr. Tom Antonek, are
billed at $125.00 per hour. Services provided by a Master’s level
therapist are billed at $75.00 per hour. Group therapy is billed at
$40.00 per 60-90 minute group session.
At The Growth Center, we recognize that many families in our community are struggling right now with economic uncertainty. Foreclosures, job loss and mounting credit card debts are at an all time high in our nation and with this economic duress comes depression, anxiety and other affective instability. We realize that the need for counseling in our community is at an all time high; however, families and individuals who are struggling to make ends meet are finding it difficult to afford the high costs of counseling at a time when they may need it the most. As a response to the economic crisis, we would like to extend our services to individuals and families in our community on a sliding scale in order to be a part of the solution for individuals who need assistance during this difficult time. Q: How long
can I expect to be involved in therapy?
A: Length
of treatment is related to the severity of the presenting problem.
However, most individuals achieve a desire therapeutic outcome in
approximately 6-8 sessions. In the case of addictions related
treatment, the course of therapy is generally much longer. |
