Dr. Thomas Antonek

Tom Antonek, Ph.D., HSPP, C.A.P

Dr. Antonek is a Licensed Psychologist, Health Service Provider in Psychology, and Certified Addiction Professional who has 35 years of specialized experience working in the field of Mental Health and Addictions treatment.  He is an approved evaluator and treatment provider of impaired doctors and nurses under the Professional Resource Network (PRN) & Intervention Project for Nurses (IPN) of the Florida Department of Health.  However, he also has extensive decades of experience treating individuals who are referred for treatment for DUI and other substance abuse related legal offenses through the county drug court program, Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles licensed DUI Program agencies, and multiple County Felony and Misdemeanor Probation Departments.

Dr. Antonek also has spent over the past 10 years developing his interest in evaluating and treating elderly clients that present with cognitive impairment. Subsequently, he provides comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for clients of neurologists and other primary care physicians that have concerns over Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI), or the possibility of Alzheimer’s dementia, vascular dementia, Parkinson’s disease, or Dementia with Lewy bodies (DLB)
